Picking up the electric guitar at the age of 16, head strong and determined, self-taught guitarist HOWISE NOISE became drawn to bands such as Machine Head, Rammstein, Rob Zombie, Fear Factory, Sepultura, Misfits, Down, Coal Chamber and artists alike. “Through my discovery of music early on, it was always dark sounding bands, heavy grooves and high energy performances that caught my attention.”
HOWSIE NOISE was inspired to play guitar after being introduced Metallica’s Load album in 1996. “As soon as I heard that album it blew me away, the hugeness of the production, vocals and raw band performing vibe captured something I feel is not present in a lot of modern music.” But it would be another 2 years before HOWSIE NOISE would begin his own creative journey enthused by 2 more iconic 90’s alternative releases. “After I picked up the Misfits album American Psycho in 1997 and a year later Rob Zombie released Hellbilly Deluxe in1998 I was inspired on a course to write music and begin my own band to one day rock amongst the greats.”
When it comes to dealing with the HATCHET DAWN darkness and heavy style, HOWSIE NOISE delivers an edge to the creativity and chunky dark groove guitar riffs, hooky solos and song writing style that delivers HATCHET DAWN as a distinctive character in sound like no other. “I believe a unique sound is imperilling to creating something original. I don’t see the point in copying another artist; there are so many untapped original areas to explore. All you need to do is set your imagination off and stay true to your heart while creating."
Since founding the band in 2007, HATCHET DAWN has been an eventful journey in such a small amount of time for HOWSIE NOISE. “Every step in this bands history has compelled it forward closer to a realm of greatness. Allowing the journey as a creative artist to unfold by the unknown has been so powerful, exciting and I am curious to know where the next step takes us.”
